How long can I keep video on my DVR/NVR?
Storage depends on several things, like hard drive size, recording type (motion vs. continuous,) frame rate, and image resolution. We can help decide which hard drive is best for you based on your storage needs.
Should I get a battery backup for my surveillance system?
We do
suggest an uninterruptible power supply to protect from electrical outages. With the additional power supply, your system will continue to record even without electricity. Our quotes generally include a battery backup.
How long does installation actually take?
The majority of our installations are handled from start to finish in less than a day.
Can I watch live monitoring and view recorded footage remotely?
Absolutely. As long as you have an internet connection, you can access both live and recorded footage. You can do this from a computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone.
Is there a monthly fee for my security system?
No, there are no monthly fees. After installation, you own the system.
Are the cameras water/weather proof?
We only use weatherproof cameras. They're IP66 Complaint. That means they have been tested and found to be dust proof, and waterproof against strong jets of water. They are able to withstand against the harshest weather conditions.
